Hey everyone just a quick update. After a little disscussion with Dr.Atomic about the new steam trading card system we descided to start a thread for all of us to trade our doubles and loot away. I don't know about you guys but my friends list is fairly small and its hard to find people who want to trade or have stuff that I don't. So lets all come together and help each other out.

Steam Client Beta Mac Update Released!

A new client build was released today for both the Steam Client Beta and the standard Steam Client on the Mac. The only changes were the following:

  • (Mac) fixed an issue that caused some users to get stuck in "Checking for updates..."
  • (Mac) fixed a startup crash when launching Steam with no input devices attached
  • (Mac) fixed a crash that could occur for some users when installing new games

If you are experiencing the first issue, where your client is stuck in "Checking for updates..." and unable to proceed, please re-download Steam from the "Install Steam" link at the top of this website. Replace your existing Steam application with the downloaded copy, and then launch Steam to download the update. You do not need to delete any files.
