United States

Mediocrity! came to be in April of 2007 after the merge between two America's Army teams, JSOC and OVK. Some people on both sides were against it and decided to go their own seperate ways but for those who continued, aside from a few shaky weeks at the start Mediocrity! soon started to find its own. It wasnt long before the team started to reach new levels and become stronger then either team had been before.

The decision to merge came one night after a few members from JSOC needed to use OVK's vent for a match because JSOC's was down. While both teams were chillin out talking, someone jokingly said "We should merge". Well after a couple weeks of talking about it and with both teams facing activity problems Team Mediocrity! was born.

Our first real challenge as a team was the CAL Tourney. It had been hyped up a lot in the community because it was for actual prizes, and also happened to be hosted by a reputable league unlike HTGN. The map list was MOUT, Pipe, Sandstorm, WCSE and finally ended with Insurgent Camp. We played through every match determined to win even when we had such things come up as hacker hash, vi trying to jew us and invite teams. Special thanks to everyone that helped us on the road to victory and also to Cyber Snipa for sponsoring a tourney with prizes for our game.

Around the turn of the new year in 2009, the competition communtity of America's Army was at an all time low. Many teams were patiently waiting for the new revamped version of the game to come out and to pass time they were picking up different games to play. Mediocrity turned to Counter Strike: Source and started scrimming in early February. In May of 2009 the long anticipated version of America's Army was released and it was a complete bust and failure. Mediocrity has since turned all focus towards our new main game of choice, Counter Strike: Source.
