I'm currently running the 2nd version of the plugin (beacon always appears) on my servers, 205.204.75.195:27016 and 205.204.75.195:27017 (same IP, different port).
To any TF2 server owners in this group: Someone on AlliedMods made a SourceMod plugin that creates a beacon effect every 2.5 seconds over the players head if they're wearing a Lo-Fi Longwave.
The original plugin in the main post doesn't work, but another member of the forums fixed it for the creator and posted two separate versions:
Version 1 (lofi_beacon.smx): (Apparently, this is untested) Only displays the beacon when Kritzkast is recording a show
Version 2 (lofi_beaconforall.smx): Always displays a beacon
Apparently, some upgrades are being made to it, such as adding in a CVAR that you can change that changes the radius of the beacon, and a CVAR that you can change that changes the color of the beacon.
