Left 4 Dead: Apocalypse
Donation Call and Upcoming Events
Two things to quickly cover! I swear I'll be quick this time!
We've been without a server for a while now so Apoc is more or less dead at the moment. That being said, I'm once again asking anyone who would like to support the continued development of the mod to donate. I hate that I'm starting to sound like Wikipedia constantly asking for donations, but there was a point we had a surplus of support that seems to have dwindled out, and I'd honestly like for the mod to continue to thrive and exand even more. No amount is too small - so please consider donating! And of course I want to thank all our previous donators - We've come a very long way, and it's all thanks to you guys!

With that out of the way, here's an early heads up on some planned things assuming we do get a server up and running.
I'm hoping to get together some campaign, survival, and versus games in L4D1 to make some promotional videos. The goal of this being to:
a) Get some great gameplay footage (something we somehow have never obtained in over a year of the mod being around)
b) Get some promotional videos out there. The mod is fun - we need to let people know it exists!
c) Have a good time playing some games.
That being said, the games will obviously only allow 4 (or 8) players and so once we have times set we'll have to reserve spots, and those with mics will potentially be given priority. More on this later - as I said this all depends on getting donations to get a server back up!
Also a little side notice - if all goes well and we get everything stabilized Apocalypse Mod for L4D1 will go out of Beta for a full release sometime before summer. As for those of you waiting for L4D2 - it's coming, but we still need to establish things first - mainly servers.

If you're looking for players to play survival, most of the players in my groups hold the world records (mod free) in survival L4D1 and L4D2. I'm not trying to brag or anything, just trying to lend some support.
We even had an international survival tournament over the summer to declare the best survival players in the world.
