How to get CONSOLE in L4D

Enter the Steam control panel then select the "My Games" tab. Right click "Left 4 Dead" and select the "Properties" option. Select the "Set Launch options..." option. Enter -console as a launch option. Start the game. A console window will appear at the main menu. Type bind "f12" "toggleconsole" then press f12 to open console. Remember, always turn sv_cheats to 1 before use any command. HOW? just write: sv_cheats 1 in console.¨
