The first part of an efficient team is 1.Communication (Coms), 2. organization, 3. TRUST 4. Weaponry (Kit). 5. Get to know your Team- Clan mates behaviors and styles 6. Players Skill Level. 7. Be game AWARE 8. Gather information (Intel) on your opponent (On the fly (Pubing) or ahead of time (Competitive)).
The first one, Communication, is a learned behavior. The reason I say learned is because it differs from team to team, game to game, and player to player (I will use my definition...What I was taught). Coms are, in my opinion, more important than an individuals skill set. Coms include calling out information (Where u died? where are you? What area are you watching? Important info to briefly pass along) Listening to what’s going on in game (Foot steps, where is the shooting coming from, etc..). and finally being Game Aware. Being game aware, as I call it, is knowing WHATS GOING ON with your Team (Where are they? What are they doing? etc..), What is their job within the game (Strats)? What’s your job within the game (Strats)? Are you watching what you say you are watching? Who's chopper is that? Enemy or friendly? Do you know the map? Do you know what building are called within the map? Keeping all of the above in mind will help you become a better player. It will also cut down on the unnecessary, in game, chatter that goes on. BTW to know if a chopper is friendly or not - HIT THE ESC Button (It shows you a lot of stuff, dont be lazy try it)!!!
So to tie it all together. if you want to improve your game be Quiet and listen to whats going on around you. If you dont know a map or what to call out....DONT SAY ANYTHING. If you want to learn ask a person who has played competitively. And always be GAME AWARE!!!! PAY ATTENTION>
