About DJ Mark Of Death
Even though he’s been involved in radio broadcasting since the early 90s, DJ Mark of Death was born through the vision of a group of "Gamers" that met on an Internet forum that provided information and discussions about notebook computers. It didn't take long before the conversation turned to video games, as the notebook computers of the time were just not quite able to play the more popular, and resource-hungry, games (but boy, we sure wished they could!). About the same time, VOIP (Voice Over IP) programs became more popular as well, and not long after that, he started hearing an age-old comment that many of his friends regularly say: "Man, you've got one of those radio voices!!!"
This rag-tag group of gamers then banded together and founded a gaming community called strafeRight that has prospered so well simply due to the great relationship of its members.
His DJ name comes from an magical spell called the Mark of Death, which comes from a game called Ebberon (part of the Dungeons and Dragons saga), but the makers of the game soon realized that even though the Mark of Death was very difficult to obtain, the players who were able to achieve the Mark of Death possessed way too much power, thus they soon retired the spell and removing it from the game.
The Mark of Death may be extinct in Ebberon, but it lives now in DJ Mark of Death on The Global GameCast. Just like the Mark of Death, The Global GameCast possesses a power and intensity unmatched in radio..
