Hello and Welcome Fillies and Gentlecolts

We are a group that uses everypony on the Equestrian Steam servers who have a love, passion, or willingness to learn and display their talent in Source Filmmaker (SFM) for everypony to see and admire. We love to see everypony's interest, so we want you to never be afraid to ask questions, no matter how small or big.

We accept all links to forums, sites, blogs, etc. that are helpful to learning SFM and/or contains models, maps, mods, or hints for some workarounds in the program.

We ask that there will be no insults, threats, links to bad sites (that means no +18 sites, viruses, or scams). We are all friends and are all here to help.

So let's get to work with projects or collaborations and other awesome things that can be done in SFM.

And admins are always happy to take questions, so message us if need be and subscribe to the group's YouTube channel.

Skin Animation Setup Script (No more cutting shots for eye changes)

For those that do not know where to place this script, put it in this directory:

SourceFilmmaker/game/platform/scripts/sfm/animset

Then afterwards, start up SFM and follow the directions to setting it up for your pony and mess around a bit to get a feel for the script, because it'll probably be the most useful one for facial expressions with you guys.

Verifying changes the gameinfo right back, so it will not show that error, but the initial problem returns. So it's kind of an endless cycle :\

Vertify your game cache for SFM. I suggest making a backup area for your custom folders just in case it has to delete them from SFM, then you can just place them back afterwards.

Alright, i managed to edit it, but now when i try to open SFM an error pops up saying "CSceneFileCache: Bad scene image file scenes/scenes.image", then SFM shuts down. Wat

Hmm. That's weird. You should be able to modify it. Worked for me. Try right clicking the file and selecting "edit". Maybe that would work Khaine.

Guys, i have a problem. Since the last update, my gameinfo thingy got reset, so my maps won't load ep2 and ep1 textures anymore, and I need those textures. I tried changing the gameinfo again, but it won't allow me to modify it for some reason. I tried making a copy, switch it with the unmodifiable gameinfo and change it to load the textures, but SFM won't even start up when i do that. Halp.
