Rise and shine, Mr. Freeman..
Along with many of you, I am frustrated in the lack of communication between Valve and the Half-Life community. While I appreciate the continued support and updates on future products, such as Left 4 Dead 2, I believe that fans of the Half-Life series deserve an update on the state of Episode Three.
Instead of focusing my efforts in a negative and disrespectful way, I have decided to gain Valve's attention through the form of a petition. I am simply asking for some sort of small update on the development of Episode Three, aside from the obvious fact that it is scheduled to be released. Waiting patiently for nearly two years is a daunting task, especially when E3 comes and goes without any beat of a Half-Life pulse. Valve had stated that information was scheduled to be released towards the end of the year, and I believe that such an update is necessary and well deserved by the patient Half-Life community.
I would also like to add: This petition is in no way, shape or form attempting to rush the development of Episode Three; in fact, most members (who have signed) agree that Valve should take the time needed to deliver a complete and polished product.
If you agree with what I have stated above, feel free to join and share your support constructively.
Hopefully such attention will be recognized by Valve, and the community's voice will be heard.
To those of you who say this will not make a difference: (NOTE - This petition is in no way, shape or form in agreement with what the boycott stood for; this link is merely a reminder of what can be accomplished when many people rally together.)
