Welcome to the Codex Edition of Dawn of War 2, a mod that aims to capture the atmosphere, intensity, and "fluff" of the 40k universe. We are a friendly, competitive community of gamers, and this mod is a constant work in progress; suggestions are welcome, but no flaming or insults. This is the first beta release, so there are bound to be things that need adjusting. We need lots of games and replays posted, so go forth in the Emperor's name and above all, have fun!
Unit balance, weapons, and persistent bodies and gore have been revamped to more accurately represent the lore, history, and atmosphere of the 40k universe.
This mod will include elite units and extra factions while ensuring the races play distinctly enough from each other to require different strategies to compete effectively.
