List some good old custom maps that you remember player, then post them here or bitch about it to cal directly, so he can either put them up on the server or call you a faggot.

Since we had it on last night think I should probably mention CP_convoy is imo a pretty bad map. It's a long almost entirely linear map with no alternate routes for jumpers. On top of that the only way to push forward is scout rush or engy creep with teleporters. And what if someone ninjacaps as a scout (having an exclusive rooftop route to the final points) or spy? Your entire team has to waddle almost the entire length of the map to stop you.

CTF works a lot better for it since you can have equal parts defenders waiting for the enemy to come to them, and attackers trying to co-ordinate medic/engy creep in little push/build fort/repeat ebb and flow. You're using the entire map as a result, especially since scouts can't just bypass your team to win.

I think people just didn't know their roles. You're always supposed to have an engie on defense and a tele up to push forward. Though this seems to be a map designed for almost full 12vs12 matches or higher.

That said, CTF does work really well on it.

If you want to, I can give you the DownloadURL to my webspace and suggest me to put some maps on it, it has a lot of space and there's already some on there. I just downloaded a bunch of random ones, since I had to remove all of them at one point. There's probably a lot of bad ones on there. I used to have convoy in there aswell..should probably re-add it.You probably don't need it at all but I'm just trying to say it's there if you ever need it. http://dylano.arctichost.no/Dylano/tf/maps/

convoy an Unreal Tournament map converted to TF2? That might explain why it doesn't play too well in TF2.

also, is damagespread disabled? I noticed you disabled bulletspread, but is damagaspread enabled aswell? I have three plugin suggestions for you. https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=648899. Players can toggle if they want to voice chat with the other team or not for themselves, kinda like the voice equivelant of pressing Y instead of T.

This fixed the spy's backstab animation on nocrit and other bugs, if you don't have it already.

We don't look at this area all that often, sorry that nobody replied. I'll tell Cal to take a look at all of this. I'm looking at some of it now and that cp_gothic looks pretty cool.
