Welcome

While this group is created for voluntaryists, all libertarians are welcome and those with opposing viewpoints should feel free to debate them.


1. No spam. This includes irrelevent walls of text, constantly typing in a language other than English, and doing anything else that makes the chat unreadable.

2. No harassment. This includes doxxing and constantly targeting an individual in the chat for no good reason.

3. Moderators may only ban someone from the chat if he breaks a rule and the violation must be documented with a screenshot.


Voluntaryists are advocates of non-political, non-violent strategies to achieve a free society. We reject electoral politics, in theory and in practice, as incompatible with libertarian principles. Governments must cloak their actions in an aura of moral legitimacy in order to sustain their power, and political methods invariably strengthen that legitimacy. Voluntaryists seek instead to delegitimize the State through education, and we advocate withdrawal of the cooperation and tacit consent on which State power ultimately depends.
