Chaotech eSports grundades 2008 som en Day of Defeat: Source klan. Laget såg fina resultat och etablerade sig som ett av de bästa svenska lagen inom scenen. Idag är det gamla Day of Defeat laget borta men den en gång lilla klanen är idag en etablerad eSports förening. Med spelare från 8 olika länder i 5 duktiga lag och ett akademi lag ser vi stora möjligheter till nya bragder.

Föreningen jobbar för att ge spelare möjligheten att göra det de älskar på en hög nivå. Vi erbjuder servrar i olika former, hemsida och finansieringshjälp till saker som till exempel LAN. Men viktigast av allt är att vi erbjuder en gemenskap med många kunniga spelar och trevliga individer. Eftersom att Chaotech är en förening så är det medlemmarna som bestämmer hur Chaotech skall styras. Vi tycker inte det är mer än rätt att de som är medlemmar ska få vara med och bestämma hur pengar och resurser skall fördelas.

Kort och gott, en gemenskap med stor erfarenhet och desto större potential. Välkommen!

Chaotech eSport was founded in 2008 as a Day of Defeat: Source clan. The team saw great results and established themselves as one of the best Swedish teams in the scene. Today, the old Day of Defeat team is gone but the clan is now an established eSport association. With players from eight different countries divided into five talented teams and an academy team, we're looking to achive new extraordinary results.

The association works to provide players with the opportunity to do what they love at a high level. We offer servers in various forms, a website and financial help for things such as LANs. But most important is that we offer a community with many skilled player and nice people. Since Chaotech is an association, it is the members who decide how Chaotech should be run. We belive that the members should have a saying in deciding how money and resources should be distributed.

Happy new year

2011 has been a good year for Chaotech. At least when you look back at it now. At the beginning of the year we didn't have that many active teams and some of them didn't play very well. The whole community was on the edge of dying for a while. It didn't look good at all.

But some of the members in the community wanted to keep Chaotech alive. They decided to make Chaotech an association. The members of Chaotech had their first annual meeting in June. After the annual meeting you could almost touch the feeling of enthusiasm in the community. The light of hope had come back to Chaotech.

Many teams joined and we sent an application to Swerock about joining their organisation. It took ages until we got an answer, we waited and waited. Nothing happend and the enthusiasm toned away a bit, some teams left the community. Was Chaotech going inactive again? Was the community meant to die?

No, some of the members kept working to keep Chaotech alive. During the autumn many good teams joined Chaotech. Now we're here, the last day in 2011. When we look back at the year it only looks like a rollercoaster, up and down, up and down but now we're on top and the rollercoaster isn't going down again, no.

Now we got many good team that can bring great results and achieve great things. We got a hard working management and staff and many enthusiastic members. We got a living community again! We got public server that are filled almost all the time. We're making huge progress and we're ready for the new year. We're ready to show that we're back! We're ready to grow even more. We're ready to get bigger and better in every way possible.

Now we want to wish all our members, our communty, the players on our public server, all the teams that has been playing for us during 2011, everyone a happy new year! Yeah, Happy new year to all of you and see you all in 2012.

We will have a Christmas contest for everyone who's playing on our Team Fortress 2 public servers. The one who has most playtime from 1 december to 24 december will get a Steelseries siberia v2 headset and a mousepad from Qpad!
