CTU Los Angeles
October 8, 1995
The second branch of the newly-formed U.S. federal intelligence commission, CTU, which made its international debut in New York City, near the site of the World Trade Centers, earlier this month, has opened in Los Angeles.
LA district head Richard Walsh was the speaker throughout most of the ribbon cutting ceremony, announcing "[CTU] to be in full swing, that [terrorist] cells and threats are already being researched and acted upon on this, the first day of CTU Los Angeles".
The CTU complex, due to security issues, was revealed only to be a multi-layered, two-floor secure compound with initial workstations and offices, and that an inner security force of 48 will be present on the grounds at all time.
