As the new President of the Civilization 5 Mac Players group, a title that was handed down this evening by Xii, our ex-President, it is first my duty and pleasure to assign and introduce the 1st Player of the Week under my glorius reign: ME! That's right! I am hereby appointed the Player of the Week! HA ! You're all dead! I'm going crush you all like grapes! Now get out there and play some Civ!!!

Invitation to join the Civilization Players League

Since cross-platform is now working I wish to invite serious players of this group interested in playing online to also join the Civilization Players League group. It is the most active Civilization community out there and I wholeheartedly support the Civilization 5 Mac Players meeting in their lobby for gaming against PC users.

Contact one of their administrators in the chat for proper registration (for ranking and team tournaments)

@Tankist - sorry for the very late response, but just open Steam, go to the Menu at the top, click Steam, then Check for updates. The MAC - PC cross-platform issue is a recurring one, and we are currently waiting for another fix. Hopefully it comes soon.

Anyone else not seeing any games up in the lobby? Are we disconnected from playing with PC's again? Was there an update that PC just got that we didn't get? See my Jun 17, 2012 comment below.

@roby: I havr Mac OS X and it works fine. I know this helps less than not at all, but I wanted to at least start responding to people in this room so we can get some discussions going. So speak up everyone who wants to say anything. This will be Say Anything week... or something.
