"Okay, so here's what I'm taking out of this: Sergei sold the rights for STALKER to Bethesda. The development team said "Nah, fuck that" and made/joined Vostok Studios. Vostok Studios is making a spiritual successor in the form of an MMOFPS.
I can't say I'm overly pleased about this, but at least Bethesda isn't in charge. Rest in peace, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series."
