been following this for ages - I have notihing but respect for you and all involved.
Honestly, I graduated from college with my second degree in 2010. Since then, I have been a programmer, working from home on a team of software developers across several time zones. The company has over 60 people that span several teams including: UI, DB, documentation, Web Farms, etc. I completely understand working in this kind of environment. We have been in development on our project for 2 years, transitioning it from old code up to new standards and platforms. I don't think people realize how complex it can really get with this type of team dynamics. After a year at my job in 2011, my patience for Black Mesa's release became infinite. We just had our first development team meeting last week and it was the first time I met anyone face to face. I am really amazed at the scope of Black Mesa and the dynamics of the team environment they work from. Massive respect. We have a lot of scope creep at times. I can only imagine what it would be like learning new technology at the same time.

of course what we though we were getting was a mod, turns out it is a brand new half life game... sweet.
