Malicious Phishing
Everyone, please be aware that the phishing bots and users are particularly active right now. I've had two ask me to chat in the past hour or so.
Do not click links posted in these messages. Your steam account can be hacked in this way.
Just to give you an idea, I just recieved a message from a user that temporarily joined BWL claiming to be Valve Support or something like that.
The message warned that my account could be banned from VAC if I didn't follow a link in their message. This is bogus. Valve doesn't work that way. Use a little common sense and double check everything.
...especially if you don't know the other user.

Amen. I had a similar thing happen recently; Fortunately, I am not an idiot. The link sentence didn't even make sense! What an idiot.
