Noted there are informal for typical American's to use Thanksgiving:
kanshasai or かんしゃさい
There is a informal version of Thanksgiving Day for japanese:
sankusugibingudee or サンクスギビングデー
And a formal version, also meaning harvest day:
shuukakukanshasai or しゅうかくかんしゃさい
As well as a saying for a shrine, which is typical for japanese culture during thanksgiving:
reimairi or れいまいり
Either or.
