Nagato, you'll need to create a steam_appid.txt and put 70 in it, where 70 represents the half-life or ns application ID, place that in your dedicated server, or mod directory(i forgot which one) once you've done that you'll also want to make sure ports are open for your server, usually it'll be 27015, but might be better to also open 27020 as some master servers use this also, then you want to make sv_lan 0 sv_region 5(oceania) etc
Anyone know why my aussie server doesn't show up in the master list? Trying to host a local to get a public game every now and then...chur

Asian servers, and a couple of euro servers + ENSL is still on, however australian ns is completely dead, you will find some oceaniac people around on overseas servers though.
is this group totally deceased, are there non bot NS servers going or is everyone on NS2?
