Hello 3scapists. This is Saskwach here announcing that there will be a regular Defcon game every Sunday ~2pm GMT (starting this Sunday, the 27th). It won't be organised through Steam while we're ironing out the kinks but if you have defcon just go through the game's servers and find "Strafe Magee". The password will be escapist.
Defcon is at max a 6 player game and we have 3 definites and 2 probables. This means that only a couple of extra players and we'll need to make a new server. Fear not. Simply join the original server as a spectator and we'll organise a new server for you, or I'll rotate out to let you play, or we'll play again in an hour or so, whatever works.
