Correct. Tun Tavern is the Birthplace of the USMC! Who would had thought that the meanest, nastiest bunch in the United States military would be thought up in a bar? But something lesser known is that Tun Tavern became the 2nd recruiting station even though it was the birthplace. Another bar in a county down the road became the first.
