Techland - new online distribution store
I've been warned by Techland to take this news off our website so I'm posting it here (I would have done that anyway)!
----------------------------------------------------
Few days ago I've asked if their latest game (Call of Juarez 2: Bound in Blood) is going to be equally priced all over the world on Steam platform. I've received a reply few days after that and I found out that Techland is about to open their own digital distribution store. Techland is one of the biggest game developers in Poland. I don't know exactly how is the store going to look like (if they're gonna have any DRM or something) but I assume it's going to work similar to Direct2Drive.

I wonder if they will put other developer's games on it? Could it be a good European alternative for Steam in the future?

Here's a bunch of games from Techland, available on Steam:

Stay tuned for more information soon!

Note: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING CALL OF JUAREZ 2 ON STEAM. It's a rip off!

One of Polish distributors started gog.com - online store with cheap, goold old games. And that was a succes, so I hope Techlands new online distribution store will become a good alternative for STEAM.

Wooh, first post! All I can say I thank you for the information you deliver and give tips if the spotlights here are recommended. But I won't switch on this Techman online sell thing. Seriously, I have already many games here on steam I always wanted to buy but never were able to it. I will find a way through the regional restrictions too. So yeah, keep up with the infos but don't say to stop using Steam anymore indirectly. This is why many joined this group to clear this injustice for the love of Steam!

I'd leave the group, but they sometimes post some websites with steam games/not steam games for free, so I'm staying. I don't care about prices, let the little babies cry.
