Currently, de facto clan policies are as follows:
Clan matches are not scheduled but are impromptu, and all online clan members will be notified and given time to join.
Clan matches will be hosted by a clan member using a Listen server setup, if possible. If not, a random dedicated server will be used.
If the Listen server for the clan match uses a password, the password will be "gloryholes".
The difficulty level must be made reasonable for the present players so that no one is bored and no one is getting their ass kicked. Beginner is too easy, and currently Suicide is too hard. If you're not sure, Normal is the way to go.
