Big achievement news today - Activision are the latest big publisher to get on the steamworks bandwagon, with blockbuster title Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 coming with VAC, Steam Cloud, and 50 steam achivements.

Wonder how VAC is going to work if there are no dedicated servers ?
Just hoping that there will be a deal so the price goes down since will definatly get it if it does have achievements. Will be one of the best FPS games this year. The lack of dedicated servers doesnt disturb me one bit.
Well I'm not buying it due to the lack of dedicated servers it ruins a lot of what I love about the cod4/5 community
There is something nice about having clan servers and the ability to mod.
I don't get that dedicated server thing... All that matters is that you can:
a) join a random ranked game
b) join a game that one of your friends are already in
c) create a private invite only game
d) the game runs with no unavoidable lag issues
e) no one can cheat
f) someone has control over maps/settings etc.
As long as you can do those things, who cares if it is dedicated right?

Where does it say that game has 50 Steam achievements?

don't think so, there's ALOT of people who are angry because there aren't any dedicated servers.
