I am looking at Fire TVs, Raspberry Pis (maybe even a new OS) etc.
There are a lot of devices capable of streaming, see this old petition that unfortuntely never got traction:

You really can't say a console-like OS is in competition with a web browser OS. They have different functions and audiences, so there really can't be competition between the two.
