I am not normally for roguelite games but I gotta say Ziggurat is bringing me around to them. I am looking forward to more content and possible Ziggurat 2.

wow, this is great! a heads up, though, that fullscreen seems to be broken in Linux if you have mutiple monitors (it displays an image on one that's stretched as though it's attempting to span both, so part of it is cut off). I've only seen this before in Trine 2, so IDK what draw methods you're using.

I didn't even know this game in Early Access, and only discovered it when TB made review. It was in steam or not?

That last sentence was all I needed to be convinced to buy the game.

@Keet - i hope you are trolling. True roguelikes (and indeed most of the games inspired by this genre like this one) usually have permadeath and no lasting unlocks whatsoever. So don't know what you mean by "most". Rogue Legacy and FTL had this sort of thing but they do not belong in the roguelike genre.

No, thank you! Your early access was a fun experience and I appreciate the accomodations you have provided us to ensure we get a solid game. I think other dev's could use your exemplary work as an example of how early access should be done. Regardless, good job and congrat's on the release!

Ziggurat 2. Co-op. Yes please. :)

I love the game, though I have a thought. Mayhap allow the players to retain their levels between deaths. This would allow the players to feel a sense of progression even as they die and will allow them to craft a powerful character that could make the run through the zig in one go, allowing for strategic gameplay instead of your only option being "Get better at the game". I like rogue-like games so it is puzzling that this one over arching concept present in most rogue-like games is absent. I want to feel like my characters are getting stronger in reflection of what I am doing, but it just doesn't feel that way right now. Just a thought, either way, I do like this game.
