Rabbit, the game isn't fucking done, be patient for more worlds and shit.
The reason why the price tag is high (I think it's reasonable) is because the developers need support to make that god damn game.

Was curious to see how much game play was available for this title so checked Zeusington's profile (as he said he completed the game). I was disappointed to see that there is only approximately two and a half hours of game play at this time.

The price of the game is almost £10 in the UK. I think for that price we should be getting much more game play. Maybe add a level editor to the mix so that users could create (and even share via a fan site) their own levels.

Maybe enable levels to be procedurally generated to make the game endless. That would be a great selling point.

I'd like to see a toggle that enables players to switch on 'debris stay' rather than have it disappear after a time. Those with large amounts of memory shouldn't be affected by the amount of debris left in the game as it progresses. For me the debris adds to the games atmosphere, so it would be great if you could add a toggle in the options menu that enables uses to turn the debris stay back on.

Alternatively, include a mod (stored in the games folder) that allows users to add the necessary code back into the game so that debris stays. (create a second mod to remove it so that you can swap between the two if wanted). Maybe even create a slider control in the options to adjust the amount of time the debris stays.

The mutagen canister on the upgrade screen is gone? That was so iconic!

Hey, how does the game run on Win 8?
I was thinkin' of picking this little gem up. Also, what does the new mutation screen look like? Everyone wants to go back to the isotope capsule one, and I'm wondering why.

Making the game more challenging / interesting:
-Powerful weapons should have some kickback. The Rocket and Grenade Launchers are obvious candidates, and the Assault Rifle (being the best general weapon in the game) could also use some slight kickback as well. The shotties may make sense too. This is to promote situational and positional awareness when using the better weapons, and since enemies have knockback it should be trivial to implement.
-Enrage timers on bosses. Taking too long to kill a boss could make it go berserk and up the difficulty of the fight. Definitely not trivial, but good achievement fodder for hardmode junkies!
-The option to randomize your *character* or *weapon(s)* every stage or level. Oh god WHAT AM I SAYING. Great achievement fodder if you can beat the game like this, and shouldn't be a programming nightmare.
-Buff the first boss and/or give him a rare variant like the green scorpions I've seen about.
Zeusington Oct 25, 2013 @ 2:27pm
Having beaten the current content, I have some suggestions.

Making the game easier / less frustrating:
-A "second chance" level-up ability that refills your health when your hp reaches zero. Obviously only works once, and taking it in lieu of a survivability upgrade won't always be the best option. Should be pretty trivial to implement.
-Collectable "tokens" that allow you to start from the beginning of the stage / level if you die. Since the game is pretty random as-is this shouldn't be too far out there as a rare random drop. May be some work.
-Certain level-up abilities that always show up in the first slot at certain levelups. Perhaps every third levelup would have the hp upgrade (Or afforementioned second chance) exclusively with a higher chance of stronger upgrades on said levelups. This would make upgrade selection on those levelups much more critical and would entice min-maxers and planners. Should be trivial to implement.
-Nerf those damn scorpions in the first stage.

Please add multiplayer, this game would be awesome with local co-op at least! I am really looking forward for 360 controller support!
HaVoK308 Oct 23, 2013 @ 9:51pm
Looking forward to the full controller support. Hope it makes it in the next update. 360 gamepad will be default I assume?
