Oh dang. I've spent much of may after this update thinking TTS wouldn't run on my (32-bit) weekend PC anymore. Today I got curious enough to see what the error message would be when I tried to load it, and it still works!

I really think that bit of news should have been promoted a little more. I've spent a few weekends thinking I couldn't play TTS when I actually could have!

Browser is desynced between the players - they often see/hear different thigns, and that's not the end of it. I wanted to play some ambiance/music for my players when DM'ing D&D, and couldn't achieve that, because youtube is desynced, soundcloud doesn't work for those who haven't done a second install of Flash, and tabletopaudio.com just doesn't work at all.
berserk pls fix

Ok I pretty sure I know what is causing this crash for people it's because there is something corrupt with their 2012 C++ redist.

First uninstall the Microsoft 2012 C++ redist for both x86 and 64-bit version.

Then download and install the Microsoft 2012 C++ redist for both x86 and 64-bit version from Microsoft's website.

For people who are crashing on the loading screen, please opt in to the beta for testing.

First step is to restart Steam.
Secondly, to access the beta branch, right click on Tabletop Simulator in your Steam library and click Properties. Choose the Betas tab and at the drop down menu, choose public_beta.
And finally, set your launch option in the General tab to -nosteam.
Now open up Tabletop Simulator for testing.

Let us know if this stops the crashing and if not please send us your log file found here:

macOS ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

Thanks for keeping 32-bit! I don't really have any means or the desire to upgrade from my shitty 32-bit laptop at the moment and I really like being able to play tabletop simulator on it.

I'm still waiting on a real fog of war for RPGs one that can cover all or part of the table and be brushed off in parts (square or round scaleable brushes) to reveal just the bits players can see as they go.
