Patch #153 is now out

Hey all,

we have just released a new patch for Ryse that can now be downloaded from Steam. Highlights for this release are the ability to turn of the HUD (we can't wait to see your screenshots in the Community Hub) as well as Controller Rumble (this change being directly based on community feedback).

We have also made further improvements to performance and stability, as you can see from our full Release Notes:

SLI/Crossfire optimization & quality improvements
Improved GPU performance on NVIDIA cards, especially for GTX980/970 versions
Fixed potential crash when running the game in resolutions higher than 1080p
Fixed graphical corruption on nVidia when running in resolutions higher than 1080p
Fixed a bug that occurred on low framerate which prevented the door to open in Pax Romana
Fixed a bug that allowed Legendary difficulty to be selected with mouse even though it is not unlocked
Made CVar accessible to disable/enable force feedback on the game controller: i_forcefeedback 0/1
Made CVar accessible to disable/enable flash (e.g. the ingame HUD for taking beauty screenshots): gfx_draw 0/1
Made CVar accessible to adjust image sharpening: r_PostAASharpening 0…2 (values range from 0 to 2, default is 0.2)
Added support for high resolution timer mode to overcome FPS limits on some systems. Activate via “sys_highrestimer = 1” (without quotes) in system.cfg

Also, NVIDIA has just released new Drivers for a wide range of GeForce GPUs (version 344.48), which include a SLI profile for Ryse!

Many textures look consolish even on very high at 4k with my Titan X. Game runs perfect with a nice OC on this card, but I do think there is room for improvement on the graphics.

I have 2 titan blacks and this game runs perfect on 4k with super sampling off and everything set high. I like this game alot.

ive just downloaded ryse on my gaming laptop and it say missing exutebale any one can help

Anybody know how this game runs when using Windowed mode to stretch the game across 3 displays without being able to use SLI or Surround config? I have two 24" portrait monitors on either sides of my 40" HDTV so i have to use windowed mode...

@organicpeach Turn off Super Sampling. I run two GTX980's and can't run super sampling. I have no issues running the game downsampled to 4k though. Whatever way Crytek chose to go with SS wasn't well optimzed. But without SuperSampling the game runs GREAT. It is actually a VERY good port. Also with a GTX970 or a GTX780ti make sure you're not running out of vRAM. The GTX970 has a strange memory system that separates it's 4GB into a 3.5GB partition and a .5GB partition. The GTX980 does not suffer this impairment. And the GTX780ti only has 3GB total. So If your setting are causing the game to run over 3GB on a 780ti or 3.5GB on a 970 then you will have framerate hitches where vRAM is being streamed.

Where is the option to turn off the HUD? I installed the game on Christmas eve so it includes the latest patch...but I see no option in settings. What am I missing?
