3) Since it's a MP game, make sure you have mappers fixing your maps for the 6 months after release, rolling updates every weeks/2 weeks.

It is unacceptable (for a company with enough funds) to not hire enough mappers (mappers who worked during the 3 months crunch must rest and can't work after launch) to keep supporting the game post-launch (= here, post-first-2-months, since the game was still quite a beta when it was "released"). The very basic map fixes in the GOTY update should have been there in february (at least).

So, TWI, please learn from what happened during RO2's development. It's ok to make mistakes, it's totally wrong to do them again.

I just really hope TWI won't do the same mistake for their next game. If you guys waste Killing Floor, the Internet (me included) will never ever forgive you.

1) It's ok to trick the CoD kids into buying your game by showing off the SN1p3rZ bullcrap. You need the money, they should learn to gather information before buying, fine.
It's not ok to screw your fanbase by trying to please both audience with one single gamemode. The Classic and Action modes should have been on Day 1.

2) Also, hire some people who know a thing or two about the UE3 for your first UE3 project, it's silly to believe all your guys will just learn the UE3 along the way. Having some knowledge in the UE2.5 helps, but is not enough, far from that.

All the rookie mistakes and performance issues could have been fixed much more rapidly if you had a veteran or two on board (for 6 months, no more). I know such thing is bloody expensive and rare, but it's really worth it. Such people weren't there and it showed.
