@Rotten Ribbs, It was and still is common practice to run a sprint before firing your SMG at a range to simulate the reality of bailing out of a tank. After sprinting, even a short distance, has massive effect on your aim.

the extreme shake on the SMGs after sprinting is just silly, it's not really realistic at all

Excellent. Classic now has 'Realism' level running speed (I know the sprint speed was putting a lot of people off), a reworked aim system (resulting in tense firefights), no spawn on SL (so there is actually a frontline rather than troops teleporting in). Give this muffin a go!
