I for one deal with fleshpounds with 5 grenades and a few bullets from my handcannons.

yes is immune but husk similar inmmune to firebug, kill by pistol ;D
Is the Lvl 5 Firebug immune to husk attacks?
Thats why you need one of your mates backing you up with a AA-12 or Hunting Shotguh
