INS - April Update Released
Hello everybody!
Our latest patch has been deployed. As announced in previous threads, the major change in hits patch is the ability to change stances while reloading. Here is the changelog in detail:
- One can change stances again while reloading. Only jumping will interrupt reloading. Reloading during a jump is not possible.
- cvar changes via rcon will show up now as chat text. This league related feature will show you the cvar you changed in real time with the new value followed by the old value in brackets.
- Minor fixes and optimizations for vtf files in preparation for a follow up patch already in progress that will introduce optimal compressed weapon vtf files in order to improve performance on low-end machines.
- Minor fixes related to reload animation issues.
- New m1014 textures.
Since the update is both client and server related, server admins would have to trigger an update (in case the update automatism isn't turned on for your server).

This is lag free and probably the best of Europe public Insurgency server. Stable 1000 fps server side (Intel Xeon E5420 inside), 200Mbit uplink, high rate guarantees comfortable game environment (no choke, no fps drop, no lag...). Available public chat commands: timeleft, nominate, rtv, votekick, voteban, votemute, currentmap, nextmap, rank. Kigen's Anti-Cheat, HLStatsX:CE and SourceBANS are installed on the server. Try it! Not enough players? Invite Your friends and have a good time. But remeber, any type of map/game bugging, cheating and using exploits will not be tolerated. Btw. We presume that idea of this game is cooperation of players. That cooperation we demand.

if these comments are actually being read by the INS team, please take these ideas and suggestions to consideration.
one more thing, the Sgt. class for the Marine Corps team has 2 weapon selections. one being the M4A1 w/ aimpoint, and the other being the M4A1 w/ a lower rail forehand grip. I bring this up because there pretty much remains no point in using the fore-gripped M4(besides people who prefer sights instead of scopes. INS team needs to add something good or useful but not fucking stupid to the fore-gripped M4 to match up equally with the aimpoint enhanced M4.

The INS team need to make the sights on the M203 like they were before to that they can actually be used again. Due to the horrible uptade they screwed it up and now you can only point and shoot...cant really aim with it.
