@Tydo Have you never read a fantasy fiction book before? If you had you would've read about tons of warriors like the squire. They are not "retarded ogres", but value their brawn over brains. Besides if he was uber smart the apprentice would be sad :( . Bottom line is Trendy knows what they are doing.

TE is shooting itself in the foot with that line of "me squire, me dumb" persona Laura, that title is traditionally held by the ogre. How many do you imagine want to pick and identify with, to put it bluntly, the ret*rd?
It is not exactly the first time he is being portrayed like he should have starred in Dumb and Dumber, it seems like the popular office view of him according to TE posts on the forum.
Whats next? Appentice becomes the ugly skinny pimplyfaced geek? Etc for monk and huntress, and they will all spend their time circle-bullying each other like a bunch of losers? To the delight of the malevolent Old Ones.
People dont want their characters to suck and you'd do well to take a constructive lesson from that.
I could go on, but the point should be have hit home by now.

@Torichimu The Squire isn't exactly know to be smart. :)

Hmmmm...do spike blockades hit wyverns? You would've thought that a wiser, over the years, squire would've plopped down two harpoon turrets instead.

Don't feel to sad about it, when they had a kick starter you could have paid something like 15 or 30 dollars for an alpha key. I just didn't have enough money for it at the time so here I am.

What about getting a pre-alpha key for true fans? The "randomness" giving pre-alpha codes to new guys seems kinda unfair.
