Steam Greenlight has been updated with new features to help expand Greenlight as a community-building and communication tool for both developers and potential customers.
- With this update, developers can now post announcements to their Steam Greenlight pages to highlight updates, additions, and milestones. These announcements will also show up in the activity feed for anyone that has added that page to their favorites, enabling developers to keep in touch with their fans and potential customers.
- Developers can now specify links to help potential customers find their social network presence (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Steam Community Groups) and funding campaigns (Kickstarter and IndieGoGo).
Estimated Release Dates
- To help everyone better understand the state of completion for products seeking Steam distribution, we've added a dedicated field for developers to indicate the estimated release date for their game or software.
Visible Vote Count
- For the curious, we've added a section on the front page of Steam Greenlight that shows you how many items you've voted on.
