In the Gold Edition the colors are more vibrant, but here they are faded, as if there is some kind of filter. I turned off FSAA and shadows, that's not the point. In the Gold Edition the game version is 1.09, but here it’s just 1.0 - maybe that’s the problem? In Elven Legacy and DLCs everything is fine, and they are Gold Edition versions. Guess I'd better play original game offline with Gold Edition patch... I as well recommend english players to try and find Gold Edition of the original (patch 1.09), ...

Before I head out to give it a bad review, I'll just post that the combat mechanics for this game are absolutely total BS. I've now hit a lone goblin stabber for the third time with two full strength militia and bowmen, and theyve survived AGAIN after being broken for the second time. Talk about unlikely. And I've had Knights routed on the plains for the second time by lowly goblin looters. I can only conclude that the AI cheats. Another nail in this electronic trash's coffin is the "pay for distance ...

I really enjoyed Fantasy Wars and the entire Elven Legacy Collection. Is there any chance of another sequel, or is the Fantasy Wars series dead?
