@Belvis Short answer is that unit strength is relative based on what units other people are using.

Units with an overly high winrate means that they are blanket useful against a broad range of opponents, whereas cards with slightly above 50% win rate are more likely because they perform well against the more popular enemy decklists or strategies, and are kept from high percentages specifically because some players are acnowleging the strength or popularity of these cards and are using strategies to counteract them. The majority of people playing games like this are not serious competitive players, and overall winrates do not reflect competitive balance, only overall health of the casual game. You want a game with relative balance at low level to keep players interested, but make too many changes to support the common player and it can have a negative impact on the higher levels of gameplay.

- WHY? This decision doesn't make much sense to me...
I understand that too much changing of cards/abilities MIGHT lead to a game where a lot of abilities work in similar/same ways, but normally this will not happen anyway.

Very good Nerfs this time! :) All of the nerfed cards/abilities were very OP and seriously needed these nerfs. Especially the fix of Demon Warrior + Mordar (I had never tried DW+Tombstone because I had actually thought it would NOT work anyway (because it would be OP as hell o.O)).

Tnx, great patch! Also keep you eyes on cards & hero balancing especially on Ratbo. None would play hard time masters if u can simply win 90% games with Ratbo.

Thanks for the feedback, it's of course hard to make everyone happy, and we expected some reactions. We have mainly reacted on Cards that had either extremely low or high win rates, and we will aim at avoiding too much micro balancing and let some cards be a little off instead of making all cards having precisely 50% winrate.
We will try add some more explanation on reasoning behind any future balance changes as well.

Nooooooo Wizard Puff can't own a guy in 3 plays of the card anymore!!! I hate this game!
