Use the default branch in the Steam game properties to always get the latest (non testing) version. This is called "NONE - Opt out of beta programs". The other numbered betas are for players who want to keep playing older versions.

Which version do I pick for the latest update...I only see up to 3.7?

The planet content block is at maybe 30% of completion. Indeed I already have some new events planned that will either happen on planets or involve planets, and other planet gameplay. We started development with most of the focus on the station and it shows. 3.9 will be focused on systems that involve planets, expect to see a clear need for fast ships soon!

...As it stands now, you could remove the planet system as it is and simply replace it with a menu of available planets, the resources they provide and a button to invest the credits to obtain those resources. Planets could ( and should ) be a lot more interesting than this and I think my suggestion would steer them in that direction.

So, here is a thought I had; right now, 100% of events occur at the home station--they range from useful boons to game-breaking catastrophes (frickin tribbles!): it's interesting at best (<3 Bernice) and frustrating tedium at worst (stations asploding losing their local build orders). Here's a thought: what if only 1/5th of events happened at the home station and the remainder happened at remote colonies?

As it stands, once you slapped down an embassy, ad media center, recruitment office and enough collectors on a planet--there is little reason to re-visit it, 'little' as in none. Having 'away events' that need resolution would resolve this disconnect and provide some justification for having more of the fast but, low-cargo, low- crew ships in your fleet. Also, it would create an environment in which a player wouldn't simply colonizes ALL planet as they also will be responsible for the success of these colonies....

@chrtwist Play Spacebase DF-9, it does the O2 thing. In effect, the player has to build enough oxygen scrubbers just to keep a meter full otherwise people get grumpy (mostly about dying of asphyxiation)--that alone doesn't really add all that much fun to the game but, as you have guessed, explosive decompression is indeed much, much !!FUN!!

@Raytruth: yep exactly that. If you find it to be otherwise then you've found a bug :)

hey, i need an answer about translation, i copy here the post i made in the spanish thanslation thread:
please, some of the strings in the dict files have the spanish part but not the one in english, there is instead written NOT FOUND IN GAME, it means are obsolete right? there is no need to translate those parts...right?

And on the hauling thing, I can't say for sure what the problem is, just that once I finally did get cargo bots again, things started running a lot better. But it was a struggle until then. :/
