The legacy version of arcania runs butter smooth, plain and simple. The default version runs HORRIBLE despite showing 60fps. The difference is crazy. (my pc is i7 12700k + gtx1080 + 16gb ram + 1tb nvme and it stuttered like crazy in the default version) To get the vastly superior and bug-free legacy version you just need to right click arcania in your steam library, go to properties, beta, then click LEGACY and it will download and install (any saves you made in the regular version will not be compatible ...

Ive played Gothic 1-2(Never finished them though which is stupid af on my behalf cause they are two of the best rpgs ive ever played) and even a decent bit of 3(Didnt like it much, didnt hate it but it was meh.
