The best RPG of old times ever!!!

The game can probably best compared to games like Warcraft 3 which also had some RPG elements and RTS.
the maps in Spellforce can probably be best seperated in two kinds. The RTS and the RPG kind. You can still use your hero and (if the map has a hero monument) the full party on the RTS maps and your buffs/heals also affect your basic troops. And the story tho this is the real deal...The story plays a couple of years after the so called Convocation. 13 of the most powerfull mages of the world participated in a ritual to gain immense power. They used so called rune warriors as there minions. People or creatures bound to their runestone. If they died they will just rise again to serve whoever has their rune. The war devestated the land. and none of the mages was able to gain the upper hand which resulted in the energy being unleashed upon the world. When the game came out the graphics were extremly good. That game was looking stellar. Today this is different of course. Because of that time period but still is a very good game to play for the old RTS players.

In the end all i can say those type of games are the best memories you can have since you seen it or played it...
