Well, I'm definitely glad I managed to hold myself back from buying this until I could see what they were going to do with it. Early Access in general seems to be an excuse to keep games unfinished forever to excuse all bugs, all massive changes, rebranding, restarts, do-overs and implosions. Early Access strikes again.

@PS5Owner That's more of a PR job than a CEO job, but I do agree that somebody should be answering questions.

Told ya'll

My first advice for you as CEO would be to be on the Steam forum answering people's questions when you "release" a game.

I think it would be helpful if you clarified what exactly your plan is in regards to updating the non-VR branch. "In the future" is pretty vague so it's somewhat unclear what exactly you mean by that.

Basically, you are cancelling the game you were making, and making an entirely different one that nobody asked for. You may as well have started a new early access VR title and then came in here with an announcement that this game will never be finished.

I have VR but I would never support this kind of dick move. Pivots are somewhat to be expected with early access, but pivoting so far that your costumers who invested into the project cannot even see the final version of the work is UNACCEPTABLE.

Wait what? dos this mean no more none VR verstion? I... don't have nor can aford an VR set... I was just happy to find a cool dragon game, and was willing to wait for it to be finished... dose this mean I wont be able to play the newer verstions of the game? I bought the game because I was hopeing to get a game I could enjoy, but put it on the shelf because it wasn't ready yet... dose this mean the verstion I can play will never be finished?

i actually can't believe this. I supported this game. The Non VR version. I don't own VR, and probably never will. But to literally, be cast aside for VR that is complete bull. I supported the game because i love dragons, and i thought when it's complete i'll actually get to play for what i paid for. Many of your supporters have supported the original Concept of your game. For you lot to turn around and do this... Put it this way. I won't be buying from your team in the future. And i will be telling anyone who's interested in this game or games from this company, how you've treated your customers. I feel completely ripped off. Heck at this point It wouldn't surprise me if you've waited this long to tell your customers about this, so that we can't get refunds.

I dont own VR and i don`t plan to do any time soon. I was really looking forward to this and now it`s like a punch into the face :(. Well for those who are just like me without a possibility to play this: Go and play Istaria Chronicles of the gifted. There you can at least play a dragon!

One of the biggest dick moves in EA history. Really, you guys deserve a freakin' plaque for this!

"Evolve" my ass! What happened here has nothing to do with evolution. It's an outright slap in the face of the people that put their confidence in you to deliver a product WORTH THEIR MONEY.... and you have failed, monumentally, making the lot of you a bunch of failures.

And I'm not even going to bother asking where the "motivation" came from or in what form it came to add a requirement that's guaranteed to cut your sales to a fraction of what they would be without the VR exclusivity.

Game reported for fraud, for all the good that will do.
