Just press P to open the control panel and it'll tell you how much power every part is using
A small step of yours is a gigantic step for us!
THANK YOU.
absolutely excellent job, keep up the good work!
Short question, i'd like to know if there is a way to calculate how much power is a vessel or base spending. Does it depend on size? Also, i went more for the looks on my CV, so i have 3 large engines on the back of it and the thing just eats thru power storage on minimal movement.
- do vessels spend their power based on their size, and not only components (aka how is the core calculating energy use), and
- do they spend equally among used engine components or having more engines automatically means more power spending, no matter they potentially can't be used (so will 10 large engines and 1 large engine move the same ship at max limited speed for same power use)?
Question about size is related to the fact that just my CV core spends an absurd amount of power, even when idle, without running gravity generator, just fridges... we are talking cca. 10 times more than fully operating base i had on ground.
Could you also work on Dedicated Servers and allowing multiple "zones" to be loaded and active at the same time? I am more than willing to help out with this (I'm not a dev, but I run servers for a GSP). I can help with server testing, measureing resource allocaiton and getting your dedicated server GSP ready (Game Server Providers have some specific desires when it comes to settings). Thanks again!
