Did I hear there are improvements coming to the video player? WOOT! If you can figure out how to add a playlist feature, you would be the only VR video player to do it... :)

Conrad: When launching through Steam, use the 2nd option: Launch with SteamVR
Bankie: Thanks for those suggestions, I'm incorporating a couple improvements to the video player in the next version and I'll try to get those in.

This is a good app, but some simple updates to the video player would make a big difference. Like hitting space to play/pause - almost every other player has this. Seeking with the arrow keys isn't great either - it would be good to be able to hold an arrow key down to make it easy to skim through content; at the moment key presses jump through a few seconds at a time, but it's slow and clumsy and it remembers every key press rather than adding up the key presses and taking you straight to the place you want to be. The mouse is fine, but that brings up the main window, obsuring much of the movie.

Sorry to be a pest, but Steam is prompting me with something along the lines of "This application does not support your currently active headset" when I try to start it up. It works after clicking that though.

Using a Vive, with the Rift software and ReVive installed, if that helps anything. Let me know if you need more complete system information.

Yes HDR environments are still very valuable on today's headsets. Try the Home Cinema environment and you'll notice the differences right away: there's no banding in dark areas and less noise in the image.

Thanks for the release notes! Do you have a central place where you're collecting user-submitted feature requests?

Does HDR make a difference with current hardware?

Ooooh, HDR? Now we just have to wait for HDR headsets to get the full use of it ;) Will definitely try the new environments though :D Cheers!
