Ashen Ones,

We have heard your concerns about being victims of deviant behavior while playing online multiplayer, we have released a patch solving some of the issues you can encounter. Other updates will follow to continue this work, we will keep you posted in due times!

Today’s update have solved the following issues you may encounter in the Online Mode:

Being sent immediately to your world
Being sent to the Firelink Shrine
Being changed in full Dragon Body Status

We’d also like to remind you that our Server Team is checking all the accounts before penalizing players. If you received an “Invalid Data” message, please refer to the following article: https://support.bandainamcoent.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/507/458/dark-souls-iii---restrictions-and-warning-messages-what-do-they-mean. Players that fall victim of online issues will not be penalized if they are innocent.

EDIT 18/05: the patch has been redeployed. The issue should have been fixed, please let us know if you still encounter issues!

What's wrong with the FPS? I'm on a fairly new laptop (yes, a laptop) and I get a solid 60 FPS, bar occasional lag spikes that are solved by reloading the area. They can be annoying but my biggest problem is Poise? DS1 Poise was OP, but it should at least have some effect. A person wearing full havels should be able to shrug off an estoc hit like it's nothing.

maybe think about lower end pc users first before making the god of godly games.

i just want a better framerate. i have to play on the lowest resolution to make it run at a decent framerate. It's probably just the fact that I'm attempting to run this on a laptop (Though it is a newer one, and it runs dark souls 1 at a next to constant 30 fps, except for blighttown), but I've seen some other articles and I'm definitely not the only one experiencing this.

The auto summon covenants have a filter so that players with older accounts won't get summoned. This makes it so MANY MANY MANY players can't use those covenants. Fix this

@Duke'sDearIdiot That's not helpful in the slightest. Experiences may vary. Any competent PC gamer knows this. That is, unless of course you're just trying to show off your l337 e-peen by letting everyone know what an awesome rig you've got!
