@simsamurai You need to burst quickly at each and every Sally bomber in that formation to disable them all, after which the objective will complete. We're going to clarify this particular section shortly.

I like this game a lot. However, I can't move past the end of the Rangoon mission where you have to knock the bombers out of formation before they reach the city. What's the trick???!!!!

Yes, I can see why. Loads of copying and 'pinching' of ideas.
Only just bought the game today, but am enjoying the game immensely. Nice to disengage from joystick flying as with "Rise of Flight", "DSC" and "IL2" for some mouse-driven 'bouncing', but will attach joytsick lter to get the real sim feel as well. Much better than "Wings of Prey".

Glad you like it. And, on a side note --- first Ki-61 encounter reports were code-named "Mike" just like the evaluation Bf 109s, owing to misidentification. The Allies thought the Ki-61 looked highly unusual and maybe a little Italian, it was aptly coded "Tony" for the rest of the war, IIRC.

Great stuff - thank you.
The evaluation Me-109's were of course copied, as that was the strength of the Japanese. The result was an improved A3M Zero and ultimately the Allied-named "Tony" which appeared later in the war. While looking very much like a Me-109 itself, the "Tony" was improved by appropriating plans of the FW-190 (which was fully realized in the "George"), but too little too late.
Not at all strangely, the Russians flew many Me-109's against the Germans in Barbarossa as well, as the Germans had been training many of their Luftwaffe pilots in Russia as part of their 'secret' build-up.
Love it when history is honoured, and not just fictitous planes and scenarios are introduced, as with some titles.
