@Giantkin, thanks! I love how trains infrastructure made in Factorio (really great game). It doesn't mean that we are going to do the same in TV2, but some small things here and there inspired us for sure.

I still play OTTD :) atm im playing ALOT of Factorio - i like its train setup, simple but effective. Maybe try the demo for some train management ideas!

@Yasha, thanks for your input. Looks like Train Valley 2 is not your type of games. Art style is fantastic (to our humble opinion) but it is far from realistic. And despite new tycoonish features, there will be a lot of micromanagement/puzzle solving mechanics in gameplay. I recommend you to look for more classical train tycoons games.
Or... you can still give TV2 a chance! ))

The cute/childish graphics of the first train valley were not to my taste - I didn't buy that game. From my childhood days with HO scale model trains, I have always loved realistic trains in realistic settings. I would like a game that includes operational and financial challenges (building trains with switchers in big yards, getting trains through the network on time, and earning enough money to slowly build your line).

I'm really looking forward to it ^^

@Giantkin, thanks for the input. Levels map will be strictly limited to one screen map, but products chains and station appearing conditions should bring some "fresh air" in gameplay.

Something to think about, (looks like 3d ish) based on the computer etc. maybe making it so that the borders of the map (on sandbox only?) ...expand based on building usage. (ie: build 2 sq from edge, edge adds +1 square to that side.) Let us place stations based on money, and where we want. Random orders is great tho. However ,maybe some chain orders? ie product x to StationA so buildings can do Y item, that needs to goto StationB etc :) (sry if this was already out there, just off the top)

That's awesome, I was surprised at how addictive the first one was so I'm really looking forward to this one.

Woah, I only just saw this post. This is really awesome. I held off on Train Valley because I wasn't sure but when I got it I couldn't stop playing it. Really looking forward to Train Valley 2!
