PC Patch 1.4.0 Released

Patch 1.4.0 has been released, and is now available for download.

Patch Notes:

Fixed the "black screen" issue PC players were experiencing when certain USB peripherals were plugged in.
Fixed the "grey screen" issue some PC players were may have encountered after the Outpost Master Mission.

If you are still experiencing a black screen on launch, please contact Customer Support..

This is a PC only patch, and you should be seeing Version 1.4.0 in the bottom left of the Main Menu if it's been successfully installed. If you are playing Far Cry 4 on a different platform, your version number will be different.

I have been gamming a long time and have had my share of games not working. I hate to say it, but a true PC gamer will figure out a way to make the game run. I can't say to much, cause I don't own this yet. I think it is way over priced to be a tester.

Still black screen, i payed $60 to stare at a black screen, this is the most trouble i have ever had to endure after buying a game.

FC4 worked for a few hours after installing 1.4 now all I get is a black screen then white and it locks up. I have Dual Evga 980 gtx in SLI an Intel i7 5960x CPU with 64 GB of memory and a Samsung 4k monitor. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled FC 4 times.,and the problem continues. I play COD Advanced warfare with no problem.

I like how they didn't even implemented an error message or an exception for the dual core computers, the game just get stuck in a infinite loop... are there any programmers in the dev team?

Juat to note, I had a blackscreen issue too, but that was when I downloaded the torrent to try it out...game is designed to be shit if torrented. But purchasing the full game legit, has no problems yet...I doubt ever will.
