Now there are additional research choices can you add in the racial trait creative as that use to be the point of playing the physically weak races and the opposite of it use to make the insect race more challenging

@tpitman: This issue is going to require a game update. We're testing out a hotfix now that should hopefully include a fix for the issue you're experiencing.

My friend and I play multiplayer all the time. With this latest release we created a game and played it. We then saved and tried to load it later. When he loads it and invited me I end up in my turn, but he ends up locked up.

If I load it and invite him, he doesn't even get past the screen showing the planet without a menu.

He tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't help.

He is on a PC and I am on a Mac.


We tried creating a new game and now that doesn't work either.

What can we do to figure this out?

More or less, seems like you're getting there!
Really nice touch in the game already. And the game is running (at least for me) very nicely considering it's still this early in development!

I think you're not aiming to do a remake of MOO2,
and also as it seems you still have a lot of stuff coming up, all I wish to say is keep up the great work and looking forward seeing the game coming together!

And sorry, this came a bit long, but will be propably my final word as well ;)

Other than that it seems to me that enemies get a bit too much help as they get one to three colony ships done and also a nice fleet to back them up and
still their planets seem like they look quite as good as mine even though I've been only focusing on structures. But this is on very hard, and this might
be the thing why it IS very hard :). All in all, I'd like to see a little bit more from the ship design (more variety, maybe) as well as spying
(as I was playing the ultimate spies, Darloks, and still, all my spies were useless, only could do initial analyzing untill they were discovered/killed).
But you seem to know you're game so I leave this part to you ;).

Still, as others too, I compare this game to MOO2 quite a lot, and maybe even think/hope that this would be more like an upgrade of that game. Mainly it's nice exploring and getting the techs is cool too, but still I think the research is too good for everyone IMHO. You only miss a tech here and there and then able to trade it quite soon. Also I seem to be "stuck" in researching and building stuff around turns 50-100 rather than building ships as you can't start invading yet and the pirates keep coming at me all the time (and yes I know you can turn them off).

First the one bug i've encountered so far:
Invaded enemy (sakkra) planet, then scrapped all of the buildings as it was going to be invaded again next turn. Before the invasion screen, the color of the planet already changed to Sakkra again and when the invasion screen came up, the roles were the opposite, i was the invader and sakkra the defender. All I could do was "start bombardment" and at the bottom the button was blurry (seemed like it was "abort" and "close" overlapping). No way to get out of the screen so totally jammed. Luckily i saved the game a couple of turns back.. but this is more like a "bug report".

Weapon modifiers have no tooltips! If they work at all.

The old-style ship design window was better, really, those drag'n'drop are quite clumsy
Also, would be nice if you added hints on the weapon modifiers
And, just encountered a funny mission for my small civ ally: said that they needed 'app_cloning_center" tech and i had 2139 turns to complete, this must be some kind of bug
Otherwise, very, very good=)
