Charge all you want for it but don't make the poor schmucks who got it when it was f2p now pay 10 bucks for it! Real dick move.

I never hated somebody so much. I'm trying really hard to understand the reason behind these changements, but I can't see nothing behind this crap.
First they moved quake on steam, and It was still acceptable. Then they simplified the game, but it was still in some way acceptable. But then they deleted the old configuration to fully connect the steam accout with quake. And what makes me mad, is that they did it thinking actually they were doing a good job, especially for the new costumers.
No Bethesda, you're wrong. You turned into shit something that heated me for 5 years. I connected today after 5 months and I discovered that every single piece of my past was disappeared. Every friend, statistic or setting was gone. There was only a distressing new screen, with on the left my steam friends. Really? And you think I'm gonna play this crap again? Of course not, nor I think will do most of the old players. It's too far away from what I liked.
Have fun new members. GG bethesda.

I was playing online version from time to time. Took a break, want to play again and now they want to charge me $10 for it? Screw you Bethesda :(

Seems kinda cheap to take a F2P game and stick a price tag on it... I'm glad somehow I still get to play, but methinks you backstabbed everyone who played with the online version, and not the Steam one.

But I am glad that it's finally gotten Workshop support, moddability, and all that fun stuff. ESPECIALLY that you killed off the subscription junk, I hated not being able to vote on which map to play just because I didn't have a 'pro' account.

I dont understand the reason to keep tweaking the physics of a game that had an entire cult fallowing JUST FOR THE MOVEMENT, in a shooter (defrag). Keep Q3 original movement and hit reg and just update the graphics and maps if the need to just change is so strong. My uncle told me a few times , "If it ain't broke, 'fix' it till it is.". I still like QL a lot but haven't played in a long minute because of the constant tweaking to the fundamentals of a legendary game. Just saying that the world is STILL waiting for the next Q3... almost had it, I thought it was catching on. I say do a huge relaunch of Q3 with orig maps and everything with new sic graphics and custom huds but with orig hitscan and physics with addition to cpm style. Warsow is bound to take the crown before too long even though they have double jump, ew but i still like it. Long live id, splash.

I deeply fuckin regret I bought this game, started playing this in 2010, picked it up again last year while it was still f2p, a little bit dissapointed with the graphic updates but it was still a solid fucking game, went berserk when I found out about the switch to steam but in my fury I decided to buy the fucking game, and what did I get out of it? The server browser is shit, there is no longer any fucking players, the overall gameplay feels different, the game is fuckin dead and will not ever be the same...

Loving the new update, no more launcher bullshit and an easy matchmaking system. It's a real shame people who own the game are now panning it.
